Floor Type

A floor type dumbwaiter loads at floor level, so a trolley, cart or stacked crate rolls straight in instead of being lifted over a sill. That single detail changes how a service floor works: housekeeping can move a loaded linen trolley in one movement, and kitchen staff do not unpack a tray to send it up. Four models cover this range.

These units are built for the heavier end of day-to-day service, from 100kg to 250kg, with car sizes up to 100x100x120cm and traction machines from 0.75kW to 1.5kW. The floor-level entry also means the landing threshold has to be set accurately during installation, so the shaft dimensions decide the ordering drawings rather than the other way round.

Measure the trolley before you choose the model. A housekeeping cart is often taller and wider than a food tray, and the car has to take the loaded width rather than the unloaded one. Send us the trolley dimensions and we will size the car around them.
